Location: Long House

POKER FUNDRAISER & SOCIAL EVENT
6:00-9:00 PM

Location: Sunset Suite (#182 – #184)
Chair: Jake Stockfleth, Oregon Seed Cleaning
Cover Charge: $30 for the social, $65 for Texas Hold’em poker, $5 Screw Your Neighbor

This gathering will be both a social reception and a poker tournament. Everyone over 21 is welcome. Heavy snacks and beverages will be provided for all guests. Walk-ins are accepted if space is available, but pre-registration is highly encouraged.

The game will be Texas Hold’em table stakes. Check-in is at 5:30 pm, and play starts at 6:00 pm. $25 from each player’s entry fee and $10 from each social cover charge go to the scholarship fund. $5 for each player goes into a pot for the high hand. The remaining fees go into the prize fund. Rebuys will be allowed until 8:00 p.m. for $50, and all re-buy money will go to the scholarship fund. Re-buys will be eligible for the high-hand pot.

Chips will be counted at 9:00 p.m., and winners will be announced. Prize fund payouts are 50% for first place, 30% for second place, and 20% for third place.

This year we will have our first “official” round of Screw Your Neighbor. We have been playing this for a few years but will now request a buy-in of $5, which will be partially shared with the scholarship fund. Funds are collected on-site; no pre-registration is required. This will provide each player with four tokens. Additional buy-ins will be allowed during the evening. This is a fun, fast-paced game where nobody is your friend!
